At our meeting at Lantek\u2019s Bilbao headquarters on 25 January, we shared the <\/span>successes <\/span><\/b>of a partnership that has lasted more than 20 years and we laid the foundations for its <\/span>future<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Euromac and Lantek: Partners in Innovation<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Since our establishment, we at Euromac have always believed in <\/span>continuous improvement<\/span><\/b>. This is a <\/span>commitment <\/span><\/b>\u2014 to <\/span>our customers<\/span><\/i> and to <\/span>ourselves <\/span><\/i>\u2014 to create increasingly efficient and versatile sheet metal processing solutions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So it is no coincidence that collaboration with Lantek, a company that <\/span>shares these same principles<\/span><\/b>, formed and evolved almost spontaneously.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Together with Lantek, we have chosen to tackle the technological challenges of automation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Innovative Machines and Advanced Software: The Ingredients of Automation<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Innovation almost always proceeds <\/span>incrementally<\/span><\/i>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Small steps, speeds that increase by a few percentage points, a new option that simplifies a particular process \u2026<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But sometimes, <\/span>paradigm shifts<\/span><\/b> occur and <\/span>innovation becomes a revolution<\/span><\/b>. This is what happened with the arrival of <\/span>automation<\/span><\/b> in the world of sheet metal processing.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There was a shift from tools that increased the number of parts machined by a worker to systems capable of working <\/span>in full autonomy<\/span><\/b>. Productivity no longer increased <\/span>linearly<\/span><\/i>, but <\/span>exponentially<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Automation led to the creation of an <\/span>entirely new generation of machines for processing sheet metal<\/span><\/b>. Programmable tools, robots, automatic belts \u2026<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And this new complexity led to the <\/span>need for a different type of software<\/span><\/b> that could <\/span>manage <\/span><\/i>the robotic machines while <\/span>simplifying <\/span><\/i>job scheduling as much as possible.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our <\/span>20-year collaboration with Lantek <\/span><\/b>has resulted in the software that makes our automatic sheet metal processing solutions possible.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting the Future<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Technological innovation<\/span><\/b> is not a destination, but an <\/span>endless journey<\/span><\/b>. And it is a journey that we at Euromac aim to take together with Lantek.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our future plans cover both <\/span>major software improvements<\/span><\/b> to <\/span>our current punching and bending machines<\/span><\/b> and <\/span>all-new solutions<\/span><\/b> that we will be presenting in the coming months.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
